Cook Children’s Health Care System is a not-for-profit organization comprised of eight companies within its network. With more than 60 primary, specialty and urgent care locations throughout Texas, families can access the care needed for the unique medical needs of their child.

The Cook Children’s technology team was looking for a technology provider to truly partner with. They chose RES ONE Workspace to enhance workspace management across their virtual desktops and plan to extend to their physical desktops to unify the management of the digital workspace experience for clinicians and staff across the di fferent environments.

With RES, IT is able to personalize settings and have those settings follow hospital staff and give quick access to critical patient data when they need it. Clinicians and staff are happy with their new and improved “follow me” experience. Their logon times have reduced to under 25 seconds. That translates into more time to interact with patients.

RES has also become a big part of Cook Children’s disaster recovery strategy. In case of infrastructure downtime, RES plays a critical role of bridging the hospitals’ disaster recovery infrastructure with the production environment.
